The Commonwealth Bank is really good because you get free rewards with any account (e.g. save 10 dollars at Coles) the bad thing is there closing lots of branches which Is not god for the elderly
Pros: good service, fast transaction Cons: bad communication
I would recommend the commonwealth bank as there customer service is exceptional and the always try to resolve any problems.
The banking app is very easy to use and there are rewards within the app. When I have reached out to customer service over the phone or in person at a branch they have been polite and helpful. These are things I really like. I don’t like that in store branches have minimal staff and no matter what time of day you visit, you have to wait a long time for service. Also dislike the low interest rate for a savings account.
Commbank have very good customer service I can always talk to someone who I understand in under 5 mins
Friendly service, always simple easy to use internet banking and apps. Good information for products services and finance help
After at least 40 years banking with Commonwealth Bank including times as an individual customer and also since starting my own business and using my credit card to gain credits so I can fly around the world with my bonus points. I have also been advised of possible fraudulent activity immediately by my bank and have saved thousands.
I like this bank because of its user-friendly mobile app and excellent customer service. The app makes it easy to manage finances on the go, and the customer support team is quick and helpful. Overall, it's a solid choice if you value digital convenience and customer service.
I have been a customer of the Commonwealth Bank for more than 45 years and have had everything from Savings Accounts, Home Loans, Personal Loans and Credit Cards. I have lived in cities and major towns where banks and their ATM'S are accessible but more importantly we have lived in remote rural locations where there has always been a Post Office that has supported the Commonwealth Bank so you are not isolated. The Commonwealth Staff (mainly call centres I deal with due to a physical disability) have always made me feel welcome and cared about. To me that is what a good Bank should do, look after their customers.
I have been using the Commonwealth Bank for a long time now and have found online website easy and helpful, there is numerous ATM scattered in convenient places and the staff in the bank helpful and courteous ready to help if you find things difficult. Line up at the Commonwealth Bank can sometimes be long so I avoid this by using NetBank or just use ATM.
To open a Smart Access Account, you must be at least 14 years old (18+ for joint accounts), have an Australian residential address, and open the account in your name.
The $4 monthly fee is waived if you:
