ING's Orange Advantage (Package) comes with different variable rate tiers depending on the amount you are borrowing, your loan-to-value ratio (LVR) and whether you're an owner occupier or investor. Rates currently start at 2.49% (2.84% comparison rate*) for owner occupiers with an LVR of 80% or lower and a loan amount over $1 million, but there are a number of other competitive rates for different borrowing needs as well.
In terms of features, you can pretty much take your pick. There's a 100% offset account on offer if you're willing to link your home loan to the Orange Everyday transaction account which could save you a bunch of interest over the life of your loan. Plus, the ING Everyday Round Up feature lets you automatically round up purchases made with your Orange Everyday Transaction Account to the nearest $1 or $5, with the difference transferred towards your loan balance.
You can also make extra repayments anytime for free and if you find yourself in need of some extra cash down the line you can take advantage of the free online redraw facility. There is also a split loan option if you decide that you want to fix some of your loan for a set period.
While there is no application fee, there are one-off settlement ($299) and discharge ($250) fees which you'll need to pay, plus a $299 yearly service fee.
If you're looking for a low rate, full feature loan to help you pay down your mortgage quicker and save on interest, the Orange Advantage (Package) loan could be the pick for you, particularly if you're already an ING customer with an Everyday Transaction account.
You can choose to make repayments on a fortnightly or monthly basis but these need to be made either via direct debit or salary credit, so if you need an alternative payment method you'll need to consider an alternative loan.

Without doubt the worst bank i have ever had to deal with. I have been trying to get a mortgage discharged for 2 weeks and despite several follow up calls I: 1. Cannot get any manager to call me regarding my account 2. They have not moved on sending the information to the solicitors to get the paperwork complete. I have had to follow them up DAILY to make sure they are doing their job but despite this still cannot get anyone in a senior position to take a phone call. Do not bank with ING if you value your sanity.

Great for very low to no fees. Rates are fair not fantastic. Customer service is adequate how ever they seem to run off a if you don't ask and we wont tell you anything system. You have to approach them for most things and loyalty doesn't equate to any discounts.
