While cover ranges from $100,000 to $1 million, the amount you will be eligible for will depend on your age.

As for how much you’ll pay on your premium, that will come down to things like age, level of cover, and the type of plan you’ve chosen. It will also vary depending on other factors, such as your general health, family history, occupation, and whether or not you smoke. 

You’ll be able to choose from a range of optional extras to give you the policy that’s best suited to you.

• The benefit amount you are entitled to will increase each year in line with the cost of living, meaning you won’t find yourself short when it’s time to make a claim.
• You’ll be able to contact Kogan Insurance at any time to change how you pay your premium. If you’re looking to change the frequency of payments, this can be done after each Policy Anniversary. 
• If you are diagnosed with a terminal illness and Kogan Insurance has sufficient evidence that you have 12 months or less to live, you’ll receive your benefit amount in full. 
• If you have taken out a Life Insurance policy, you’ll also be able to apply for Total & Permanent Disability Insurance. This will ensure a payout of between $50,000 and $1 million (depending on your age) if you suffer loss of limbs or sight, are made unable to work, or face loss of independence as a result of a sickness or injury. 
• Kogan Life Insurance makes for an affordable option for Australian residents between the ages of 18 and 64. If you’re looking to take out Total & Permanent Disability insurance, however, the maximum age is 59, and you’ll have to be working at least 20 hours per week in addition to being an Australian resident.

How to take out life insurance with Kogan Insurance

To receive a quote for Kogan Life Insurance, you’ll need to fill out a form on the Kogan Insurance website, detailing your date of birth, gender, smoking status, and the level of cover you’d like. 

You’ll also need to provide details about residency status, employment status, if you have dependent children, and general information about your health and lifestyle. The good news is the application process is fairly simple, and you won’t be asked to undergo any medical or blood tests as part of it.
