Discover Energy offers both residential and business energy plans to customers. With Discover Energy, there are two types of residential plans: the Basic Plan, which is the default market offer, and the Economy Saver plan that’s available in all three NSW distribution zones (Endeavour, Essential and Ausgrid).
The Economy Saver plan features discounted rates as well as a 15% guarantee discount, which is an unconditional discount that is guaranteed with your bill. All plans also come with no lock in contracts or exit fees, so you’ll be able to opt out of your plan with ease.
And to make your energy bill easier to say on top of, Discover Energy allows you to manage and understand your energy usage and pay your bill through the Discover Energy Insight app. You’ll also be able to identify which household appliances are using the most energy, so you can work towards reducing your energy bill.
Plus Discover Energy’s Insight app will always let you know when you have stored enough electricity and only then feed the excess back to the grid.

Whether you’re switching to Discover Energy or are simply moving home, Discover Energy make reconnecting a breeze. If you’re an existing Discover Energy customer, you’ll need to ‘book your move’ online, so your electricity supply can be transferred over to your new address. If you’re looking to sign up to Discover Energy while you’re moving house, you’ll need to provide your moving dates and the energy plan you want to be connected to.
Just keep in mind you will need to let Discovery Energy know of your plans at least five business days in advance. Discover Energy also offer a power on guarantee where - if you book your move before 1pm during Monday to Friday - you’ll be connected the next business day.
