Once you’ve found your local electricity plan, the social enterprise use profits from your electricity bill to support local charities and community groups.
Energy Locals electricity is currently available to customers in NSW and southeast Queensland but plan to expand to other states.
Energy Locals electricity plans and packages are available for homes and businesses. Once you join, you’ll need to look up local electricity plans within your area and pick one that supports a community or organisation of your choosing. These electricity plans come with no exit fees, lock-in contracts and offer carbon offsets for all your energy use.
You can sign up for an Energy Locals electricity plan by filling out your details online. If you are switching from another provider, you won’t need to do a thing as Energy Locals will send a request to your current provider and free you from your plan. Your electricity supply won’t be affected and you will not be charged until your plan is switched over and your meter is read.

after a year i have still not recieved my solar panels and battery, have had no contact from them at all in the last year. i put my bills onto a payment plan but yet i have not received a bill for my reference of what i am using, for the last 9 months! they said 26% cheaper than any other company around but my first 3 bills which were supposed to be 3 monthly but received monthly were the same price as 3 months worth with origin or agl DISGRACEFUL
Energy locals are great, they use green energy, bill is easy to understand and service is great too, I think they are the best energy providers.

I have never had a problem yet with my provider they have been really good always have a monthly bill easy to read and payments are a lot easier to make every 4 weeks.
