Established in 2016 by community mirco-investors, Enova Energy offers affordable electricity plans and supports communities in order to reach their renewable energy goal - funnelling 50% of its profits back into the local economy.
Enova Energy Electricity is available in most parts of NSW, as it operates on Essential Energy networks. However, the company is developing a model to be copied by communities across the country.
Enova Energy electricity plans are available for homes and businesses and range from economy plans that feature discounts for paying on time, to plans that cater to all your solar, renewable or GreenPower needs.
If you’re thinking of switching to Enova Energy, give them a call or fill out a switch form online. But if you’re moving house, you’ll need to give Enova Energy notice ASAP by calling their service line. And on the day you move, make sure there’s safe access to your meter so they can make the switch.
The Mozo community has rated Enova Energy products and services on different specifications ranging from pricing and bill clarity to customer satisfaction and green energy.
They are a community based provider and use 100% renewable energy.
One thing I would like more effort in is when it comes to the meter readers coming out they should make more effort to check the meter rather going up to the gate and doing nothing, perhaps ring the bell as someone is always home (our home is fenced off) At least try to open it. Often we get a slip of un-read meter and the comment usually states 'because of Covid' and that's when Covid isn't even causing lockdowns or no explanation at all. I know we can have it read through the 'smart activation' but we'd prefer the 'old school' way. Overall I think our Electricity company gives us affordably priced bills. Of course any discount we receive for paying earlier is taken up. We always set aside the chunk of pays to knock it out.
They are local and sustainable. A small company making a big difference.
