Beginning with only 60 members, Police Bank has become one of the largest mutual banks in Australia. And it looks like that hard work has paid off, as it’s just been awarded the title of Australia’s Best Small Bank in the Mozo Experts Choice Awards 2019.
“Police Bank have been a strong contender in our Mozo Experts Choice Awards throughout the year,” said Mozo Banking Expert, Peter Marshall.
“It’s performance in our Personal Loan Awards was a huge boost - it received a whopping six awards, including the title of Personal Loan Provider of the Year, but Police Bank also offers solid options for savings accounts and even home loans.”
In the last financial year, Mozo’s expert judges have consistently revealed the products that offer exceptional value to customers - our Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Australia’s Best Banking takes it one step further by revealing the banks and credit unions that offer great value across banking products.
In order to be considered in our Australia’s Best Banking catalogues, a provider must have received five or more Mozo Expert Choice Awards since July 2018, and Police Bank surpassed our judges expectations with a total of nine awards.

It’s no secret Police Bank are big on community, with more than 76,000 members and a drive to keep banking ethical and competitive.
The member funded bank offers a range of financial products from home loans to term deposits, but if there’s one thing they do right, it’s their personal loans.
