It’s a household name, especially when it comes to all things cars, but did you know that NRMA Insurance also offers a range of other policies including life and income protection insurance?
Not only does NRMA offer life insurance, it offers award-winning life insurance! That’s right, because the NRMA has just been named a 2020 Mozo Experts Choice Award winner for Exceptional Value Income Protection Insurance - part of Mozo’s 2020 Mozo Experts Choice Life Insurance Awards.
NRMA was one of just a handful of winners in Mozo’s 2020 Mozo Experts Choice Life Insurance Awards, which were determined following a thorough judging process that assessed 25 different insurers offering direct life insurance products.
“NRMA Insurance has won multiple Mozo Experts Choice Awards throughout years, so it’s no surprise that it scooped up an Exceptional Value Income Protection award for the second year in a row,” said Mozo Experts Choice Judge, Peter Marshall.
NRMA Insurance is a brand of the Insurance Australia Group, providing a range of insurance products to customers in New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and the ACT. They are underwritten by Insurance Australia Group (IAG).
Perhaps best known for its car insurance, NRMA Insurance also offers home and contents insurance, travel insurance and life insurance. A few of which also picked Mozo Experts Choice Awards in the past twelve months, including its Comprehensive Plus Car Insurance and Home Plus Building and Contents Insurance.
In order to select winners who offered exceptional value, our judges compared a number of quotes available to men and women across a range of ages (at least up to 55) and professions.
And NRMA more than fit the bill, offering Income Protection Insurance to Australian residents between 18-60 who work more than 20 hours a week.
That includes Aussies who often don’t qualify for income protection, including those who work part time, contractors, self-employed Australians who have been in business for less than six months, stay at home parents and even people with pre-existing medical conditions.
When it comes to the actual payout on offer, an Income Protection Insurance policy with NRMA could cover up to 85% of your pre-tax income (up to $10,000 each month) depending on your type of cover. That’s if you were unable to work because of sickness or injury.
The NRMA also offers a number of ‘Optional Covers’ which can be added on to an Income Protection Insurance policy including:
