Its Life Protect insurance policy covers between $100,000 and $1 million and has a range of standout benefits including a $10,000 funeral advancement and terminal illness benefit.

Key Features 

• Terminal illness benefit: If you become terminally ill and are diagnosed by a registered doctor, Suncorp will advance your full death benefit so you can get your finances in order. 
• $10,000 funeral advancement: This is an advance on your death benefit (meaning it will be deducted from the final payout) to help your family cover your funeral costs.
• Premium pause benefit: If you’re struggling to pay your premiums, you can request to freeze your payments for up to 3 months while you get your finances together (keep in mind you’ll only be covered for accidental death during this period).
• Premium protector benefit: If you’re unable to work for 90 consecutive days due to illness or injury, Suncorp will pay the cost of your personal insurance policies for the following year (up to $2,000).  
• Lifestyle increase benefit: To keep up with changes in life, like marriage or childbirth, you are able to increase the sum insured by $100,000 each year without providing medical information. 
• 10% cash back: When you hold and pay your policy for 3 years with Suncorp, you’ll receive 10% of your premiums back (and you’ll keep receiving that same discount every 3 years if you continue to hold the policy). 
• 10% family member discount: If an immediate family member holds a Suncorp Life Protection policy, you’ll both be rewarded with a discount when you apply.

Suncorp’s award-winning Life Protect Insurance may suit someone looking for quality insurance with a bunch benefits. While it covers customers up to 99 years old, keep in mind you must apply before you turn 60.

• Gender 
• If you’ve smoked in the last 12 months
