Kogan NBN plans

Kogan is a newcomer to the NBN provider scene, but it’s certainly hit the ground running. In just its second year, Kogan emerged as one of the star performers in the 2019 Mozo Experts Choice Awards, picking up wins for all three of its NBN plans.

About Kogan

Kogan is an online retailer that recently expanded to include internet service in its long list of offerings. Using NBN infrastructure provided by Vodafone, Kogan offers low cost plans on three tiers - Bronze, Silver and Gold - with each offering unlimited data.

When signing up, you’ll need to make sure you have a compatible modem. This can be purchased from Kogan when signing up, in which case the $69 cost will be included in your first monthly bill, or you can provide your own.

And as part of Kogan’s Internet Price Pledge, if you find a better deal offered by an approved major provider (Kogan lists 8), Kogan will give you back double the difference. All you’ll need to do is provide proof of the competing offer, such as a link or screenshot. If approved, you’ll receive a voucher for double the difference between the two plans, which is valid for three months.

Another noteworthy feature is the ability to earn Qantas points with your internet plan. As long as you have linked your internet account to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account, you’ll get 1 Qantas Point for every $2 you spend.

And if you ever find you could do with a faster plan, you’ll be able to switch to one that better suits your needs at no extra cost.
