Apple has just announced the upcoming release of the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
Here’s everything we know about the phones including information about new features and when they will be available to buy.
Details about the iPhone 15
- Phones will have colour-infused back glass with a matte finish and contoured edge
- Both phones will feature the Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14
- Phones will be available in 5 colours - pink, yellow, green, blue and black
- iPhone 15 has 6.1 inch display and iPhone 15 Plus has 6.7 inch display
- Both phones will be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage capacities
- 48MP main camera and a new 2x Telephoto option to provide three optical zoom levels
- Move from Lightning connector to USB-C charging ports on both phones
- Both phones run on an A16 Bionic chip
- Satellite infrastructure allows users to connect to Roadside Assistance if they have car trouble while out of the range of reception
When will the iPhone 15 be available?
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available to preorder from 10am 15 September and they will be available in stores 22 September.
How much will the new iPhone 15 models cost?
The iPhone 15 will start at $1499 and the iPhone 15 Plus will start at $1649.
