If you’re a senior driver looking to save on your car insurance policy, then the National Seniors Comprehensive Car Insurance could provide exactly what you’ve been looking for. Not only do you have the choice to pick your own repairer, you can also pay your premiums monthly if you wish.
Did someone say discounts? That's right, there are a number of discounts available with this policy, including up to 10% if you buy your policy online and a 10% safe driver’s discount. To top it all off, the Comprehensive Car Insurance policy was also named a 2019 Mozo Experts Choice Award winner in the Exceptional Value Car Insurance category!
National Seniors offers excellent quality Comprehensive Car Insurance for older Aussie drivers looking for a policy that is both flexible and provides a solid amount of cover at a low price.
This comprehensive insurance provided by National Seniors has customers covered up to $500 in emergency repairs without assessment as well as $1,000 personal property cover in the case of damage or theft. You’ll also be covered for reasonable towing costs and up to $1,000 in emergency travel or accommodation costs as long as it is more than 100km away from home.
National Seniors Comprehensive Car Insurance offers new customers discounts when they take out their policy, and who doesn’t love a discount… or two. If you buy your policy online, you can receive up to 10% off your first year’s premium. But that’s not all. If you are a safe driver, according to your insurance history, National Seniors offers a Safe Driver Discount of up to 10% on new policies. And if you prefer to pay your premiums on a monthly basis to fit your budget you can, but it may mean you pay a little extra on your premium.
While you have the freedom to choose your own excess, keep in mind that if you have any family members under the age of 25, a $600 excess is applied to listed drivers while it spikes to a massive $1,800 if they are unlisted. Also remember that there is no roadside assistance with this policy, in case you find yourself in a sticky situation.
Who it's good for:
This insurance could suit Aussie seniors looking for comprehensive car insurance that offers a good amount of cover at a low price and who want to be rewarded for their excellent driving habits.
Bear in mind that the Safe Driver Discount is determined by the insurance history of all the listed drivers on your policy, not just yours, and the amount of claims made by them. And don’t forget, there is no roadside assistance with this policy, so you will have to seek out this service separately.
