Amaysim lockdown deal: 200GB of mobile data for $20

Amaysim lockdown deal: 200GB of mobile data for $20

With many Australian cities going into lockdown due to the spread of the new virus strain, the only way to stay connected with friends and family might be to stay connected online.

In light of this, local telco Amaysim (which operates on the Optus 4G network) has just come out with an exciting new “lockdown offer”.

Amaysim's new offer:

Until the 31st of July 2021, both new and existing customers can grab Amaysim’s $50 plan for just $20 and score an extra 120GB of data on top of the standard 80GB for the first renewal.

That’s a whopping 200GB of mobile data for just twenty bucks, folks!

The renewal period for this plan is 28 days. After the first renewal, it reverts to the usual $50 for 80GB. But since its a no-contract plan, you can cancel or swap to a cheaper plan at any time.

With many Aussies now working and schooling from home, the National Broadband Network (NBN) is doing it tough trying to keep up with the increased capacity.

So, for the time being - you might find that hotspotting your phone’s mobile data could be a temporary solution - in which case this offer couldn’t have come at a better time.

If you’d rather stick with the NBN and are considering switching to a better deal - then head to the NBN comparison table below to compare your options.
