Blue NRG electricity plans and packages

Not wanting to be like other big electricity retailers that focus on residential customers, Blue NRG decided to focus on customers with higher electricity usage.

They don’t provide electricity to retailers, but if you’re a small to medium business, then they have competitive and transparent packages to suit you. Plus, all of Blue NRG’s plans are billed monthly to help you manage payments.

Blue NRG features to keep in mind

Easy payment options

You can pay your Blue NRG bill via credit card online or by phone, cheque via mail or post, Direct Transfer via BPAY or Direct Debit.

Online access

Once you sign your business up to Blue NRG, you can manage your bills online, plus see data on usage by day, week, month, year or peak/off-peak and control notifications such as when your usage reaches set limits.

No lock-in contract

If Blue NRG no longer suits your business’s needs and you're using under 40MWh in Vic, 100MWh in NSW, and 160MWh SA, then feel free to cancel anytime.

Financial hardship support

If you find yourself struggling to pay your bills either temporarily or permanently, then Blue NRG have a hardship policy in place to relieve some pressure.

Local call centre

Got a problem? You can speak to Blue NRG’s local customer service team at its Melbourne-based call centre. You can even request to speak to your favourite rep, so you don’t have to explain your situation to someone new.

    We don't have any competition so we don't have competitive prices. I also believe one of their other businesses transcend give their staff unlimited sick leave and I know someone who abuses this and I am paying for this as will be reflected in my costs for electricity.

    Terrible service and billing practices.

    Blue NRG are the worst energy provider I've ever used for business. They sell themselves as low cost, but the costs ended up no lower than other retailers. They provided me wildly different bills from month to month, with one bill in the thousands, the the next month around $100. It's impossible to manage cash flow in a small business when you have this kind of billing. In addition, they stuffed up my disconnection because they don't understand the process managed by AUSGRID. They then told me it would take 48 hours to speak to their supervisor to fix a problem they themselves had created.
