You can support the renewable energy industry in Australia by sponsoring 10% or up to 100% of your electricity generated from clean sources such as biogas, biomass, hydro and wind.
Dodo’s rates and instalment options are available on a no lock-in contract basis which gives you the flexibility to tailor your energy plan to best suit your finances.
You can sign up to the Infinite Rewards program with Dodo Power and Gas. As a member of the rewards program, you’ll receive access to heaps of discounts on brands from retailers across Australia in the form of pre-purchase gift cards, vouchers and instant discounts from online retailers. Dodo offers a range of different payment methods including credit card, debit card, direct debit and BPAY. You can update or change your payment method online or over the phone but you’ll need to notify Dodo at least three business days before your next payment date.
Dodo Power and Gas will calculate the estimated cost of your bill and arrange for the payment to be made in instalments based on information like your billing history. You can choose to pay your bill in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments.
You may be eligible for a concession or rebate if you receive income support payments from the government and have an eligible concession card such as a Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card or a Department of Veterans Affairs Gold Card. The state you live in will determine what concession or rebate you can apply for as well as the eligibility requirements you must satisfy.
Whether you’re planning to switch or move your energy account with Dodo, the process is fairly quick and easy. If you plan to switch to Dodo you can sign up online or do so over the phone. While submitting a request for the switch, you will need to have a previous energy bill ready along with your full address, contacts details and a form of identification such as your driver’s license number.
If you’re an existing Dodo customer who is moving home, you can easily transfer your energy services to your new address over the phone. Dodo’s customer care is available during weekdays and there is a live chat if you need further support. You will need to inform Dodo at least three business days before your intended move out date and ensure there is unrestricted access to your meter.

Bills emailed for convenience - they provide the option to pay direct debit each month or transfer so when your bill comes it doesn’t take such a hit from the family budget. You can log in online and review and compare previous bills or check your usage. Patient with us when we have struggled with payments before and have extended the due date and arranged something to suit us. Only a phone call away if you need to chat with someone rather than go online. Overall can’t fault them. Prices are comparable with market from what we found.
