  • EnergyAustralia Electricity

    Do not trust AGL

I recently found this provider to be very helpful when my electricity was stolen by AGL without my knowledge or permission it was Energy Australia who advised me and helped to get it back while AGL failed to return my calls or email me. I still get letters addressed to an unknown person from AGL even though I have repeatedly told them no one of that name lives at my address or ever has. I am the original owner of 34 years.

  • EnergyAustralia Electricity

They get richer off our income

I have found that setting up a direct debit in advance of every quarter helpful. I do believe that we pay too much, and when i asked Energy Australia to call me about the dollar amount, i got an email. So not very personable. I do not understand why energy costs so much. It is very concerning that Energy Australia reported $91 million EBITDAF for the half year ended 30 June 2023. I live in an apartment, as most people do in Sydney, so I cannot get solar pannels. I am very concerned about the environment and i would choose to go green, but the cost of everything is breaking our bank account. The other day i paid $18 for grapes! So when i see my electricity bill taking a big chunk of my income, and compare it to the 91 billion EBITDAF you have to assume that there is something nefarious going on!
