Sumo Power is a 100% Australian owned online energy company providing electricity to homes and businesses and, more recently, gas to residential customers. Aside from the range of available discounts on its plans, Sumo Power also offers incentives for customers with solar.
Sumo Power gas plans are only currently available to residents and businesses in Victoria, so if you’re a Victorian who’s looking for an online power option you may be eligible to sign up for one of Sum Power’s plans.
For the time being Sumo Power is only offering its residential customers in Victoria gas as part of a combined electricity plan. As part of the plan, customers will be able to receive a 17% discount off the gas portion of their bill if they pay on time.
You’ll be able to pay your bills with a credit card, via a direct debit, using BPAY or even over the phone.
If you find yourself in a situation where you can’t pay your gas or electricity bill, Sumo Power offers a hardship assistance program called Bill Assist to help you get back on track.
