If you’re looking for insurance that’s wide-ranging and flexible, Real Comprehensive Car Insurance warrants serious consideration. Not only will your car be covered if it’s stolen, crashed, or damaged by fire or weather, you’ll also benefit from a number of features that will provide added security, such as new for old car replacement if your car is written off within two years of its registration.

With Real Comprehensive Car Insurance, you’ll be covered in cases of theft, accidents, or if your car is damaged by fire or weather. You’ll also be insured up to $500 for property in your vehicle that’s damaged or stolen, up to $500 for damaged baby seats and prams, and up to $1,000 for stolen keys.

If you find yourself in an accident, Real offers up to $500 in emergency repairs and towing to help get your car back up and running. If by some stroke of bad luck your car winds up getting written off within two years of its registration, you can rest easy knowing Real will replace it with a brand new one.

There are also a few optional extras that are available to complement the existing features. These include 24/7 roadside assistance, excess-free windscreen cover (for an additional premium), and a 10 or 20 day hire car cover, so you won’t be without transport while your car is getting fixed. 

And if you don’t drive often but still want the benefits of comprehensive cover, you can sign up for Pay As You Drive Car Insurance. This will give you the same cover at a reduced rate, so long as you drive within the agreed km range.

This policy would suit two types of drivers: those who want to protect their car against a variety of unfortunate circumstances, and those who love their car but just don’t drive it as often. Anyone over the age of 25 will also be able to take advantage of the 5% online application discount.

    Terrible customer service.

    Been with real car insurance for many years with different vehicles but each and every year they put the price up. It got to the point where I started looking elsewhere to find better rates. When I called to see if they could match or better the other companies they said they could do nothing. I ended up canceling my insurance with them. I thought as I had stuck with them for a while and have had no claims they would value me as a customer but no nothing!
