What do I do if there is an emergency during my trip?

If there's a medical overseas emergency on your trip it's best to immediately contact Butter's 24/7 specialist in-house emergency assistance team called Robin Assist. Contacting Butter as soon as possible helps you get the right paperwork for your claim and makes sure any steps you take are in line with their process.

How do I make a claim with Butter Travel Insurance?

Is it possible to cancel my Butter Travel Insurance policy?

Yes, you can cancel your Butter Travel Insurance policy. Here's how it works:

Within the cooling-off period: You have 21 days from the date you purchased your policy to cancel and receive a full refund. This gives you time to review the PDS and ensure the policy suits your needs.

Outside the cooling-off period: If you cancel after the 21-day period, Butter will provide a refund on a pro-rata basis (meaning you'll receive a portion back based on the unused time left on your policy).

Important conditions for refunds (both within and outside the cooling-off period):

Butter aims to process refunds within 15 business days after a cancellation is accepted.
