You can enhance your Pet Circle policy with several appealing optional extras, broadening your coverage. These include vet costs for:

• Dental illness, such as gingivitis or periodontal disease
• Behavioural problems, like excessive licking, fur pulling, pacing and destructive chewing.
• Alternative therapies, such as acupuncture, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.

Like all pet insurance policies, some general exclusions apply to Pet Circle's coverage, particularly for pre-existing conditions and intentional neglect or harm.

Here is a list of Pet Circle exclusions:

• Pre-existing conditions
• Desexing
• Behavioural and dental problems unless you add them to your policy
• Accidents or injury that result from your actions (not taking vet’s advice, not getting your pet vaccinated, putting your pet in harm’s way, etc)
• Preventive and routine treatments like check-ups and deworming
• Certain treatments including breeding-related treatments, elective procedures and experimental treatments
• Certain vet costs including costs after your pet’s death
• General exclusions including waiting periods, epidemics, pandemics, war and civil unrest

You can submit claims to Pet Circle either by logging in through their website or via email (claims@petcircleinsurance.com.au). Claims should be lodged within 90 days of treatment and must include relevant evidence, such as the vet’s assessments, invoices or receipts.

Your vet may also email a copy of the invoice and any clinical notes to claims@petcircleinsurance.com.au on your behalf. Claims are typically assessed within five business days of receiving all necessary evidence. Any benefits will be subject to your annual limits/benefit percentage once you have paid the yearly excess.

Yes, you can cancel your Pet Circle insurance policy at any time. If you cancel within the 30-day cooling-off period and haven't made any claims, you'll receive a full refund of premiums and fees paid, minus any non-refundable charges. 

After the cooling-off period, you can still cancel your policy at any time by notifying Pet Circle, and you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund unless you've made a claim. If Pet Circle cancels the policy, they will inform you in writing, and cancellation will take effect three business days after notification.
