I like this bank because the interest rates are competitive and the customer service at my local branch is outstanding. There are a lot of pros which include ample ATM accesses (being part of Westpac), great customer service, great online/mobile banking experience. The only con I have experienced thus far is when I went into the branch to apply for a guarantor release the branch manager was unsure of the new online application process. This made me slightly uncertain about whether we were doing it correctly. However, she quickly assured me by making phone calls and double checking certain questions.
I love the bank and the Offset home loan account that I have. The interest rate is awesome as well. The only thing which is annoying is the bank card which is debit only with no visa facility.
As far as rates and interest etc they aren’t all that competitive. But what I like best is that if there is any unusual activity on my account such as international transactions etc they contact me. I’m confident my savings are being safeguarded.
We have recently moved to Adelaide Bank about 5 months ago. They are definitely not a flashy bank with loads of extras. They are yet to have Apple Pay facilities and their app can be a bit clunky but overall we are satisfied. We have a decent rate on our mortgage and good customer service.
Well it quite worrying to know where your money is going and this is why I chose this bank.
