Red Energy is Australian owned & you can earn Qantas points on every bill, they dont have many packages & their prices are pretty standard for the industry ,but saying that ive never had an issue with them & never had to call their customer service line.

Origin can be difficult to deal with from time to time, customer service needs a Polish up as language and think accents can result in your inquiry or problem not being dealt with
I have solar power. I generate and supply far more than I use. However, I still have a bill to pay to Origin! Why! If you are young and building a new house, get off the grid completely!

Pros of synergy : Payment plans if your in financial hardship . They help families with low income on centerlink also. You can also get a concession or healthcare card discount also and rebates. Cons : none. I would recommend anyone
I like to pay in advance for my bills and with the solar rebate I find Bills are extremely lower than before. I have health issues and in need of generator they supply when power is out.
We have been customers with Origin for over twenty years. I call them every year and have been offered a very competitive rate each time. We used Origin to install our Solar System on our house. We are waiting for our new apartment to be completed and will use Origin again. Very pleased with the customer service and would recommend them.

I have always been with Origin and have not had any problems, other than rising costs per quarter which is the case with all providers. I do not agree with all the green energy as many farmlands are ruined and the panels, when broken or past use by date, are toxic to the environment. Wind farms are equally bad as as they quickly interfere with with animal and marine life energy fields, stunning marine life and also toxic when broken.
