The BOQ Specialist One Account truly is an all-rounder when it comes to everyday banking, and with so many great features available, you’ll probably be left wondering what it doesn't include. With free ATM withdrawals from any major bank in Australia, no monthly account fees and a 0.10% p.a. interest rate, you’ll be in transaction account heaven.

Key features

The BOQ Specialist One Account offers a virtually fee-free banking experience for all your major needs, with no monthly account fees, no over the counter deposit or withdrawal fees, and unlimited free transactions when you use eftpos, phone or online banking.

You’ll also be worry free when it comes to withdrawing cash. BOQ allows its Specialist One Account customers to access ATMs from all four major banks (Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, ANZ and NAB) free of charge. Be sure to limit yourself to ten or fewer ATM withdrawals per month, because thereafter ATM owner fees apply.

With a competitive interest rate of 0.10% p.a. you won’t have to worry too hard about your cash sitting idly in the account. But for greater savings make sure to put that had earned money in a savings account with an even higher interest rate.

If you find yourself in need of extra funds the account can also be linked to an optional overdraft, giving you the convenience to withdraw money above the balance of your account which is set to an approved limit. Keep in mind you will be paying interest on whatever you spend. The good news is this doesn't apply to any leftover overdraft funds, and you won't need to put up collateral to access the cash as it's an unsecured overdraft.

The BOQ Specialist One Account also comes with a linked BOQ Specialist Visa Debit Card. As part of the Visa network you’ll feel safe in knowing your transactions are covered by Visa’s Zero Liability anywhere in the world, including when you tap and go using Visa payWave.
