As lenders slash fixed rates left, right and centre, borrowers are racing to lock in a great home loan deal while they last.

In the past month, 14 lenders in Mozo’s database have reduced fixed rates by an average of 0.16%. On the other hand, variable rates have been steadily climbing, making a fixed rate offer all the more attractive for frugal Aussie borrowers.

“If you’ve been thinking about locking your mortgage rate in, now could be the perfect time to take the plunge while lenders are enticing borrowers with lower and lower fixed rates,” says Mozo Director Kirsty Lamont.

There are currently 184 fixed rate offers under 4.00% across terms between 1 and 5 years in the Mozo database, so borrowers are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding a great deal. Check out some hot options available today.
