For those looking to make their homes more energy efficient, loans.com.au’s Solar Home Loan offers an introductory rate of 5.99% p.a. (6.51% p.a. comparison rate*), which is available for the first five years and represents a discount of 0.74% p.a. on loans.com.au’s Smart Home Loan.
With the savings on interest repayments, borrowers can install a new solar energy system - such as a 10kw solar system which is the largest commonly available - and meaningfully reduce their energy bills.
The offer is available to both new and existing customers, with 90% LVR options available for borrowers with low equity. The interest-only options however require a 20% deposit.
