I found this bank is a little conservative when applying for a loan. If their computer program says you can't afford it, they don't approve you - even if you are changing to a lower interest rate and currently paying double the repayments!
I like this bank because it has low rates and few fees and charges.

It gets harder and harder these days to deal with human beings doing human being things, the Permanent knows exactly that the difference is connecting with people and make it pleasantly obvious they love to assist. I've had a number of different experiences over the last decade and I love dealing with humans. Personalities are hard to come by, that's what the Perm means to me!
Staff at the Cessnock Branch at Newcastle Permanent cannot do enough for you, when applying for a loan ! Newcastle Perm is the oldest Building Society in Australia and their track record speaks for it self !
