Bendigo Bank, Woolies among most trusted brands in Australia, Roy Morgan says
Latest research from Roy Morgan has revealed the top brands Aussies deemed to be the most trustworthy. In a survey of more than 14,000 Aussies, Bendigo Bank and Woolworths were among the top 10 most trusted brands in Australia.
It’s not surprising, given the results of the 2019 Mozo People’s Choice Awards where Bendigo Bank and Woolworths each received a whopping seven awards.
Similar to the data collected by Roy Morgan, the Mozo People’s Choice Awards were created to give Aussies across the country the opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions on a range of everyday services from banking to grocery shopping.
“Seeing this research from Roy Morgan reinforces the results from the 2019 Mozo People’s Choice Awards, as it looks like many Aussies are on the same page with which providers they believe excel in their field,” said Mozo Data Services Director, AJ Duncanson.
“Providers like Bendigo Bank have always been a strong performer in our Mozo People’s Choice Awards, winning at least one award for the last seven years, so I’m not surprised to see that they’re among the most trusted brands in the country.”
This year, Bendigo Bank received awards across categories that included Outstanding Customer Satisfaction, Excellent Customer Service and of course, Highly Trusted.

Woolworths received a 2019 Mozo People’s Choice Award in all seven Online Grocery Service categories from Range of Products to Online Shopping Experience, which according to Duncanson was an outstanding way to launch seven new Mozo People’s Choice Award categories.
“We decided to launch these new categories as it was becoming increasingly clear that Australians valued things like customer service and recommendations from others even when it came to things like where to do your next grocery shop.”
“So to see Woolworths take home a 2019 Mozo People’s Choice Award in all seven categories is a true testament to the quality of service they provide to their customers.”
Other familiar faces among the top ten trusted brands were Aldi and NRMA, who together picked up a total of nine 2019 Mozo People’s Choice Awards.
