Our verdict

The Suncorp Carbon Insights Account is designed for environmentally conscious consumers who want to manage their finances while making a positive impact on the planet. This account not only offers the standard banking features but also provides insights into your carbon footprint, helping you track and reduce your environmental impact.

Suncorp works with leading carbon service provider Cogo to gather emissions data that matches up with customer spending, allowing you to see your total monthly estimated carbon emissions and what they’re equivalent to.

There’s no account-keeping fees, overdraft fees, or foreign currency conversion fees on Visa Debit card purchases, which may appeal to frequent international travellers.

While the account primarily focuses on online banking, Suncorp provides customer support through other channels.

You can also enjoy cashback on purchases at specific retailers through the bank’s Feel Good Rewards program - featuring discounts on popular Aussie fashion brands, dining options and more.

The Suncorp Carbon Insights Account offers a practical approach to everyday banking with a focus on sustainability. However, it’s a good idea to compare your options to see what best fits your financial situation.
