The Everyday Options account from Suncorp is a convenient everyday bank account with a difference. This account has a range of flexible options to help you to manage your day-to-day financial needs, including the ability to link up to nine sub-accounts (each of which can earn you an interest rate of 0.01% p.a.) that can be put used for different goals.
The Everyday Options’ interest rate on balances from $1 it is 0.01% however, for Suncorp customers, balances from $1 will be able to receive up to 0.01% interest on up to nine linked Everyday Options sub accounts.
When money is deposited into your main account, you’ll be able to set up an automatic transaction feature and have your money transferred into as many sub-accounts as you would like. You’ll also get unlimited transactions from Suncorp ATMs, as well as free EFTPOS, phone, internet banking, as well as branch access.
Aussies who want greater flexibility with their bank accounts and can make use of the sub-account feature.
Just remember, standard interest on this account is paid half-yearly.

I like this bank because I have been with them for a long time. They have great phone customer service. The sometimes match when I call with cheaper rates elsewhere.

Honestly, I think this counts for all banks, but the reduced opening hours have bothered me over the last two years. As someone who works 9-5 I can't just leave work to get instore things done. Especially when I had a home loan to work with. If I wanted to redraw on my loan for renovations, I'd have to take half a day off work to ensure I had the time to complete the paperwork in branch before it closed.
