No matter what your home or items go through, from fires to glass breakage and explosions, it’s safe to say that Westpac’s Residential Care home and contents insurance has got it under control.

Westpac Home & Contents Insurance provides cover for storms, lightning, floods, fires, theft, malicious acts and up to $20 million of legal liability. Cover for items such as jewellery, sporting equipment, artworks and CDs and DVDs is also included. However, how much you are covered for will vary depending on what item and content being claimed. For example, for cameras and photographic equipment you can claim up to $7,500 in total per claim for each item, set or collection. You also gave the option to increase its limit with some extra coverage.

The policy also providers up to $5,000 worth of cover for gardens and landscaping. If anything were to happen to your home Westpac offer the additional benefit of paying for emergency accommodation cover for pets up to $500 for commercial boarding establishments. The policy provides emergency accommodation cover up to 10% of the sum insured or the cost of accommodation for up to 12 months.
