Likes: physical branch/ATMs everywhere (easy access), budget/expense tracker, helpful staff on site, can deposit cash using ATMs, cardless transactions, popular as part of Big 4 Dislikes: zero interest for everyday choice account, unable to resolve some disputes (e.g. scamming), closing branches
The customer service is generally good, but there have been times when I’ve had to wait longer than I’d like for assistance. It took a long time for them to get notifications after the other apps. I wish they gave notifications on the area that’s had the most spending each month. Other banks do. Additionally, while the app works most of the time, there have been occasional glitches that led to temporary disruptions, which made it frustrating during important times like bill payments. It randomly logs me out sometimes. And will redo the process of my PIN code. My bank has room for improvement in terms of offering more competitive rates and ensuring smoother, more reliable digital experiences.
I have banked with Westpac for over 35 years. They are solid as a rock, and trustworthy. Their app is world class - the breakdown of cash flow, expenses, as well as tips to get more out of your money.
Good because money goes in early wish they had a overdraft option available
I like westpac because I like their debit accounts. Their savings account is good - I can split the savings towards different goals without having to create new accounts. This way I get more savings. Their service is good - the app is friendly unlike CBA. I would recommend for a debit account.
Easy access, staff are friendly & polite No banking issues I don’t find getting to talk to someone online the easiest
Overall westpac are pretty good
Great bank account. Easily accessible. Many branch locations nearby. Never had any issues at all. Would recommend to others
their online banking platform is very easy to use for all ages, really reducing the need to physically manage your account at a branch so very convenient. However, interest rates aren't overly competitive on regular accounts.
I have had 5 min max wait time and friendly and helpfull service everytime i go the casuarina NT BRANCH
