How to transfer money with ANZ

In order to transfer money internationally with ANZ you must be an ANZ customer. You can set up an account with ANZ online or at any one of their branches in Australia. You’ll need to provide the regular identification documentation to set up an account such as passport and drivers license. Once your account is set up and you register for internet banking you’ll be good to go.

To send a payment you’ll need the following information:

• Full name, address and account number for the person you want to send the money to
• Currency and amount that you want to send
• Name, branch number and address or SWIFT BIC (Bank Identifier Code) of the receiver’s bank
• IBAN (for payments to Europe and the UK)
