How to transfer money with TorFX

To start off, get a quote for your international money transfer via the online form on the TorFx website. If you're happy with the quote you get,  you'll need to set up an account and have your identity confirmed, so make sure you've got ID ready to go and allow time to get this sorted before your first trade.

The good news is that you are under no obligation to trade so you can have your account set up in advance and then only make the trade when the time is right for you.  

Once you are registered, you’ll be assigned an Account Manager. If you need guidance and support regarding your trade they are there to help you.

The process for making a trade is generally:

1. Book a transfer. If you are trading less than $25,000 you can check exchange rates and book a transfer on TorFx online. Or, you can contact your Account Manager over the phone, and they'll confirm the current exchange rate and set up the transfer for you.
2. Receive confirmation. TorFX will send a Contract Note outlining the terms of your transfer. You’ll then transfer your money to TorFX in Aussie dollars, so they can make the transfer for you.
3. Transfer takes place. Depending on the kind of transfer you're doing and the currencies involved, the converted currency is usually transferred to the recipient account within 1 to 2 working days. For EUR, GBP and USD same day processing is often available.
