June and July mean shopping aplenty during the EOFY sales!

But what exactly are the EOFY sales and where are the best shopping deals happening?

That's a bit like asking who makes cooler sneakers, Reebok or Nike? Tough call, but we can make some suggestions here.

The "end of financial year sales" give retailers a good excuse to unload discounted and sometimes discontinued stock on eager shoppers in the middle of the year ... and these said eager shoppers get a chance to, well, shop!

The discounts at these mid-year sales, which typically run through early June and into July, can often be quite significant. Shoppers could save from anywhere between 25% to 70% off or more on popular items! The sky's the limit, really.
