While many retailers experienced a rough patch due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Myer made record profits in the 2021/2022 financial year. According to Myer’s Full Year 2022 Result report, its net profit after tax was $60.2 million, an $103.8% increase from the previous financial year.
Myer Sales Calendar
If you’re a sales lover, the good news is that Myer holds multiple sales throughout the year. Two of the biggest sales events on the Myer sales calendar include its Mid-Season Sale in March and a Black Friday sale in November.
Myer also holds Super Weekend sales during the year, where it offers special discounts (as much as 60%) on a range of items. Myer’s Super Weekend sale in June 2023, for example, featured discounts on select men's and women's fashion, sleepwear, intimates, swimwear, shoes, handbags and accessories.
If you want to get the most bang for your buck, you’ll want to take advantage of these sales.
Be aware that Super Weekend sales are usually not advertised ahead of time, so be sure to keep an eye on the Myer website so you don’t miss out on one of these spontaneous sales.

Myer One Rewards
Myer has a unique loyalty program called Myer One. It is free and easy to sign up to Myer One. You can either sign up on the Myer One App, via the Myer website or in-store.
A Myer One membership is suited to Aussies wanting to earn rewards for shopping at Myer.
Myer One membership perks:
- You can earn 2 Credits for every $1 spent at Myer (not including the purchase of gift cards, purchases made on the eBay Myer Store, or delivery fees)
- Earn bonus Myer One Credits as a result of promotional or incentive programs
- Receive a $10 reward for every 1,000 Credits you earn
- Receive a Birthday Reward on your Birthday
- Be the first to know about offers, deals and exclusive Member experiences
There are also different tiers of Myer One membership - Silver, Gold or Platinum. To become a Silver Member, you have to spend between $1500 - $5999.99 at Myer in a Membership year (starting 31 March). To become a Gold Member, you must spend $6000 or more at Myer in a Membership year. You can only become a Platinum Member by invitation.
Once you become a Myer One member, it is easy to manage your account and receive rewards; all you have to do is download the Myer One app. If you don’t have the app, your rewards will be sent to your email address.

Another great perk of being a Myer One member is that you get access to exclusive sales and offers. For example, last year, Myer held a “Myer One Shopmas Event” featuring a range of offers for Myer One members both in-store and online.

Over the last few years, Myer has regained momentum and made a comeback in sales since the setbacks experienced during the COVID Pandemic.
According to Myer’s Half Year 2023 Results Report, Myer made a record number of sales equaling $1,884.9 million in the first half of 2023. That’s a total growth of 24.2% from the previous year and 17.2% higher than the first half of 2020 (pre-COVID).
In the 2021/2022 financial year, Myer recorded a total sales growth of 12.5% (compared with the previous year), equalling $2,989.80 million.
Myer’s online business was a big part of this success, with online sales growing 34% over the 12-month period.

Myer offers Free Standard Delivery on orders over $99. For orders under $99, you’ll be charged a Standard Delivery Fee of $9.95. For Platinum and Gold Myer One Members, Free Standard Delivery is available on all orders.
What is Big & Bulky Delivery?
Big & Bulky Delivery is a delivery service offered by Myer when an item is too big or heavy to be delivered by standard post. If the item you have ordered requires a special delivery, there is a flat fee of $75, and these items are generally delivered within 7-14 business days.
Can you do click and collect at Myer?
Myer offers same-day click-and-collect if you order before 12pm. If you order after 1pm, it will be available to collect the next day. If an item is out of stock at your local store, Myer will transfer it for free from another store in the same state. However, this may cause a delay in the collection time.
Does Myer offer free returns?
It is free to return an item in-store within 30 days of purchase if you have proof of purchase and the item meets the returns policy.
For an item that was purchased online, you can return it for free in-store or return it via post through Parcel Point or Australia Post. If you choose to return through ParcelPoint, you’ll have to pay an Australia-wide fee of $7.99. If you are returning through Australia Post, you will have to pay a fee of $13.10.
Can I pay with Myer One points during sales?
Yes, you can use Myer One Rewards credits to buy sale items online or in-store.
