Australia’s most trusted brands right now continue their hot streak of popularity, with Woolworths at the top followed by Coles, Bunnings Warehouse, Aldi and Kmart, in the latest Roy Morgan trusted brands report.
Due to the spending boom we saw in 2021 and into 2022, it’s maybe no surprise that the most trusted brands are all retailers. Similarly, out of the top ten, only one is not a retailer - Qantas, which placed sixth.

Back to the results - notable changes from this recent quarter's results (to end of June) are Apple moving up two places to seventh place since the last quarter, Samsung moving up two places to 13th and JB Hi-Fi moving up one place to 17th spot.
Looking back, Roy Morgan’s findings in 2021 found that supermarkets were the most trusted brands, which makes sense amid the height of the pandemic. These latest results show that this trend has continued to an extent, with three of the top five trusted brands in the June quarter being supermarkets.

To determine the results for the “net trust” findings, Roy Morgan data scientists analysed nominations from over 21,000 Australians to identify the 20 most and least trusted brands.
The results of Mozo’s 2022 People’s Choice Awards for Supermarkets also reflect Australia’s trust in Woolworths and Aldi, with Aldi winning the awards in the Most Recommended and Outstanding Customer Satisfaction categories and Woolworths winning for Range of Products.
